Julia is such a lovely women, who is so knowledgeable and cares for these donkeys so well. My sister was in donkey heaven! The donkeys themselves are so lovely and it’s so nice to see them living the best life. 10/10

The animals are absolutely adorable and have so much character. Julia is lovely - so knowledgeable and informative. My daughter loved learning so much and being able to spend quality time so close with the animals. We really enjoyed are time and are planning which activity we'd like to return for!

They were adorable, so friendly and full of character. Julia was so welcoming and great at telling us all about Goose and Maverick, and we even got the opportunity to meet her horses too. Julia’s homestead is so spacious and lush - all her animals are treated like family and are clearly so happy. I would highly recommend to animal & nature-loving adults visiting the area!

  Piggy Walk 🐷  - Myself and my husband visited today for a piggy walk. A few days prior we received an email with detailed instructions of how to find the location as it really... read more is in the middle of the valleys. Such a beautiful location with acres of land. We parked outside the house as instructed and with in a few minutes Helena came to greet us. Wellies were available to borrow along with use of toilet facilities. Before the walk we were given a brief talk about the pigs and what to expect and how to feed them. Gary and Helena accompany you the whole time on the walk, they were both very polite, chatty and warming to be around. The walk started with the younger pigs, the 4 sisters, such characters they were! Who knew you could get a pig to sit for a treat. Helena and Gary are very knowledgable and know their pigs well. You can see how much they are loved and cared for. The younger pigs were so playful and almost felt like walking with puppies. It really surprised us how much personality pigs have and you can see this is down to all the love they get from Helena and Gary The second part of the walk is with the older pigs. Such different temperaments but again such beautiful animal. Willow absolutely stole my heart, she was so calm and gentle. Both walks are a short way down a track and then to paddle in a little stream. You are given a bucket of treats for the pigs for each walk. We were so impressed with how much time you got with the animals, you didn’t feel rushed at all. Myself and my husband were the only ones booked on the walk due to other bookings having to rearrange so we got a private walk, but we were told they only do walks in small groups which is great as you then know you get enough time with the animals. We even were invited for a cup of tea and a biscuit after the walk but unfortunately we had to head straight off. We will definitely be back for another piggy walk next time we are in wales. Highly recommend this experience. Just fantastic, we had the best time.
